About Blazeguard
Serious capability. One mission: protect your property from wildfire.

Why Blazeguard Exists
Living in Morrison, Colorado means living with wildfire. It is part of the landscape, part of the reality of building a life in the foothills. And for too many homeowners, the gap between knowing the risk and actually doing something about it is where disaster finds room to grow.
Blazeguard Land & Fire Services was built to close that gap. Founded by Daniel Sunderland, a Morrison-based operator with deep roots in the Front Range foothills, Blazeguard exists because wildfire mitigation should not be confusing, inaccessible, or left to chance.
We are not a franchise. We are not a national chain sending unfamiliar crews to your property. We are your neighbor, operating commercial-grade equipment, showing up with a clear plan, and delivering results you can verify.
What Makes Us Different
Blazeguard serves the Elk Creek, Inter-Canyon, Evergreen, and surrounding Fire Protection Districts, areas identified as among the highest wildfire-risk zones in the United States.
Our work aligns with Colorado State Forest Service Home Ignition Zone standards and the priorities outlined in regional Community Wildfire Protection Plans.
We operate a Bobcat T86 compact track loader with a commercial-grade forestry mulching head, professional equipment purpose-built for WUI land clearing in the Colorado foothills.
Full-Loop Capability
Most wildfire mitigation companies either assess risk or clear land. Blazeguard does both, and documents the results. We evaluate fuel loads, perform physical mitigation, and verify completed work, giving you a single point of accountability from start to finish.
Impact Certificates
Every completed project comes with a Blazeguard Impact Certificate, a documented record of the work performed, the conditions before and after, and the mitigation achieved. This is not marketing. It is proof you can hand to your insurer, your fire district, or your HOA board.
Community-First Approach
Blazeguard is committed to making wildfire mitigation accessible at the community level. Through our NeighborShare Community Days, we bring reduced-rate group mitigation to neighborhoods that organize together. Because wildfire does not stop at your property line, and neither should your mitigation plan.
